Remodelling of Plaça Can Boter in Premià de Mar

Agrotècnica del Segrià has carried out the remodelling project for the Plaça Can Boter at the expense of Premià de Mar Town Council. The purpose of this project is to renovate this space in an attractive way, creating new pleasant areas for the citizens.

On the new pavement layer, small garden areas have been incorporated at different heights, with new trees and a more efficient and sustainable irrigation and water storage system, leaving a central area free for children’s games, arranged in four circles of rubber safety paving in a variety of colours. The existing cycle lane has been moved to try to favour a quiet play environment.

The whole design is based on organic and rounded shapes. Thus, the vegetation is found in semicircular planters, or in round design containers simulating large flowerpots. The benches are also integrative models in the shape of a button or semicircle.

The total cost of the project was 108,806.48 €.
